Join us for a thrilling multi sport adventure that includes horse riding and mountain biking in the Mavrovo national park as well as kayaking and cycling in the area of Ohrid lake in Macedonia and Albania. Hike to the rarely visited Monastery of Treskavec as well as another epic biking day in the Tikvesh wine district (largest of the Balkans) are also included in this diverse itinerary. Visits of the historically rich cities of Ohrid, Skopje and Prilep give our trip the culture edge, and the restaurants we use give you chance to taste our splendid Macedonian cuisine and wines.
Proposal itinerary:
Day 1 Arrival in Skopje
Day 2 Mountain biking day in Mavrovo national park (choice of trails with various difficulty)
Day 3 Western style horse riding in Mavrovo national park (can be replaced with hiking, cycling or another mountain biking adventure). Transfer to Ohrid
Day 4 Kayaking or sailing in Ohrid (with support)
Day 5 Cycling around the lake of Ohrid
Day 6 Hiking to the Monastery of Treskavec. Transfer to Tikvesh wine district
Day 7 Cycling on the wine roads of Macedonia. Return to Skopje
Day 8 Departure from Skopje
