Proposal itinerary:

Day 1 Arrival to Macedonia (Skopje Airport) or Kosovo (Prishtina Airport). Transfer to Prizren.

Day 2 Gastronomy exploration of Kosovo (Serbian and Albanian gastronomy) Sightseeing in Prizren, Prishtina, Gracanica, wine tasting in Rahovec.

Day 3 Gastronomy of Gora region in Kosovo. Transfer from Kosovo to Albania. Afternoon in Shkoder for sightseeing in Rozafa Fortress and the center.

Day 4 Transfer from Albania to Montenegro. Boat trip on Skadar Lake followed by wine tasting in Virpazar area. Afternoon arrival in Kotor.

Day 5 Visits of Njegushi (smoked ham tasting) and Lustica area (olive oil tasting), followed by afternoon private boat trip in Perast. Return to Kotor for sightseeing of the old town.

Day 6 Transfer from Montenegro to Bosnia & Herzegovina. Visit of Blagaj, Mostar and overnight in Konjic.

Day 7 Day and night in Sarajevo.

Day 8 Transfer from Bosnia to Croatia, with wine tasting in Trebinje. Stay in Dubrovnik area.

Day 9 Taste of Dalmatia (Peljesac). Visit of Ston and villages around Peljesac (microwinery and fish at family home).

Day 10 Departure from Dubrovnik airport.


Proposal itinerary:

Day 1 Arrival in Skopje. Sightseeing in the Old Bazaar (street food on the move). Welcome dinner in Debar Maalo – Skopje’s bohemian quarters.

Day 2 Eastern Macedonia / Wine tasting day hosted by Ivana in the Tikvesh wine district, with visits of garage wine makers in the areas of Negotino and Kavadarci. Overnight at winery in the area.

Day 3 Eastern Macedonia / Kokino ancient observatory, the stone dolls of Kuklica and the medieval town of Kratovo. Slow food and authentic local food sampling in Kratovo.

Day 4 Eastern Macedonia / Lesnovo monastery, Berovo and Pehcevo. Visit of local sheepfold, sampling of local dairy products and other traditional dishes typical to the Maleshevo area.

Day 5 Western Bulgaria / Rila Monastery & Sofia. Visit of the UNESCO heritage site of Rila Monastery. Sightseeing in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia, its green markets and thriving food & wine scene.

Day 6 Western Bulgaria / Melnik and its underground wine cellars. Day spent exploring the area of Melnik and tasting wines from indigenous varieties of Melnik at micro wineries. Overnight in the area of Sandanski.

Day 7 Northern Greece / Natural and cultural wonders of northern Greece –  Agistro and lake Kerkini (boat trip) and its surroundings. Overnight in Kavala.

Day 8 Northern Greece / Exploration of the old town and the surroundings of Kavala (wine tasting visits in the area included), followed by afternoon visit of the legendary Philippi archaeological site & traditional dinner in the village of Korifes.

Day 9 Northern Greece / Sightseeing, wine and gastronomy discovery in the rural areas of Halkidiki. Overnight in Thessaloniki.

Day 10 Northern Greece / Taste of Thessaloniki (green, farmers and fish markets), followed by wine tasting and Greek hands-on cooking class. Return transfer to Skopje, or return to hotel (in case guests choose to fly home from Thessaloniki instead of Skopje).

Day 11 Departure
