Days 1 - 3

Skopje’s Bohemian Bites, Shar’s Truffles & Ohrid’s Culinary Soul – Monasteries to Mountain Lakes

The trip begins with an arrival in Skopje, where you’ll enjoy traditional lunch in the bohemian quarters, followed by a wine tasting at boutique winery. On the second day, head to the Shar region for truffle hunting (weather permitting), visit the Monastery of Leshok and the village of Varvara, then journey through Mavrovo National Park with a lunch stop by the lake. Arrive in Ohrid for dinner featuring the local trout specialty. Day three includes a free morning in Ohrid, a visit to a local village for a traditional cooking demonstration, lunch, wine tasting at the outskirts of Ohrid, and finally a homemade dinner in the village of Kuratica.
Begin with a drive to Prespa, stopping at local agriturismo for fruit picking, followed by a visit to small and unique ethno museum. The next day, take a boat trip to Golem Grad island, explore its bird sanctuary and archaeological finds, then savor game dishes at a local restaurant and a lamb roast dinner at Villa Prespa. On day six, cross into Greek Prespa to visit Agios Achillios, explore the beautiful coastal town of Kastoria.

Prespa's Treasures: From Fruit Orchards to Ancient Islands

Days 7-9

Ancient Wonders and Wine: Kastoria to Veria and Vergina

Explore Kastoria with a visit to the prehistoric settlement of Dispilio and the Dragon Cave before enjoying wine tasting in Amyntaio. Continue to Veria for dinner and an overnight stay. On the eighth day, visit the archaeological site of Aigai in Vergina, followed by wine tasting and lunch at local boutique winery, then return to Skopje for a farewell dinner. The trip concludes with an transfer to Skopje Airport on the final day.
